Yes, helping Antoine (great! A shame there's a facilities bug but there we go) but I don't think it's a unique situation. Based on your own figures, the following teams could lose between 1 and >£4m each week: Renttu, Fenninger, YMSF, Arrows, JP Suave, SGA, Olivetti, Zeroforce, Silver Cosmos, Andrea Moda, ATMI, Pirate Panda, Handbrake, Serbian Engineering, ElMayo. That's 15 teams straight off - not 'an anomaly' but a significant % of the game. I appreciate not many of those may be running balanced budgets, but if they were, then it would affect all of them. And if they've managed balanced budgets for a number of seasons, then they probably don't have much cash left in the bank (we know this isn't true for most, but Antoine's point is that for him it IS true).

My point is that this is a welcome improvement in the economics of Pitwall - we agree - but its introduction (championed, not unreasonably, by you) overnight has caused a considerable risk to a number of teams that wasn't considered. To lose more players as a result would be a massive (avoidable) shame.

At least half of those teams don't have any economic problem. I already agreed that the overnight modification can be a problem for few teams, and i agree if Frank help somehow those few teams if needed. I think you are describing a bigger problem than what in reality it is.

"At least half of those teams don't have any economic problem." Interesting, how do you know? Even as admin I only see balances, no income or expenses. A high balance says nothing about the weekly result with contracts signed on the old income.

Arrows just went public, worth around 650M. That's exactly what I described: the fan cut pushed a team into an IPO that injects hundreds of millions, which cash cost now forces them to spend. The measure feeds the problem it was meant to solve.

how do i know? well Henri already said that he managed to adapt to the new situation, me too, i don't know about other div 1 managers, but the other div 2 managers of that list, if they already had a tight finance before the update and without the major expenses of a div1 team, that means that they need to improve their financial management in the first place, and this is the right moment to improve their skills. plus i say again that i would agree and i already suggested to help those teams in needs in every possible way. at the moment only 1 complained to be at risk of bankrupcy. not 5, not 10, not 15. just 1 and i keep to not understand why you are doing all this drama.

illogic argument from you: the measure was meant to give to every players the same chance to succeed by balancing the merchandise income, that's it.

all the teams had the ability to go public even before of the fans income update. so there is no logical bond in what you said.

and by the way, Henri dominated these last seasons not only because of the IPO, not only for the fans income, but because he is one of the most active and best player of the game.

before last updates, the cash from the IPO would last forever, potentially increasing the top salaries and potentially ruining the market for many seasons. now instead, thanks to the increased cash cost tax, a team can't exploit this system forever but only for 2-3 seasons. fortunately only Henri and few others players were able to understand and exploit this too powerful strategy before the update.
