Administrators, 15 April 2010 18:11. By Frank Van Laere As you all know, there have been quite a few administrators on Pitwall and most of them have lost interest in the game or aren't very active anymore. There are different reasons for that, one being that except for replying to support tickets, there isn't much that they can do. This has got to do with the way Pitwall has been coded. This will be changed after the new development script is out as I'll be starting work from the way down on the new site.
I already have a few in mind who would be good candidates, but I'm letting everyone make themselves candidates for the free roles.
There's just a few things people should agree on before they make themselves candidates:
* They should be aware that at this moment they don't have a lot of tools, but once on the new site they should have more tools available.
* They should always be respectful in all ways (especially language wise) when responding in correspondence. Responding in a constructive way is a big requirement.
* They should have good English language knowledge
* They should have filled in the correct details in their profile page (to give a good example to others)
* They should be capable of thinking outside of the box. They don't put their team first, but think of the consequences of things on the long term.
* They should be active on Pitwall, and be active on a regular basis (checking the site daily is a plus)
If you think all these requirements above fit you, then you can make yourself a candidate by responding to the forum topic. This will not be a popular vote contest, I will be evaluating each entry (based primarily on how you have been responding in the forum) and then later on pick the new administrators.
If you think someone is capable of doing a good job, then you can also nominate them. I will keep count of all the nominations and candidates in the first post of the topic. - Discuss about this in the forum |
