I have been working on the email malfunctioning this afternoon, and I've been able to get the email sending to work again. Everyone who registered in the past week won't have received an email as the email sending was down for that period.
If you want to confirm your email address, please click the link when logging in and you should receive an email. It also shouldn't end up in spam mail folders as often as it did, but it's always worth checking of course.
