Supporter by using a cell phone, 19 August 2008 00:43, by Frank Van Laere.
I would like everyone who bought supporter since 25 July (the date of the server move) by using the (cell) phone option to open a support ticket. Filling false claims will be punished with a possible ban, I have logs of when payments were made.
If you used Paypal for your payments, then there is no problem.

Week re-run, 03 August 2008 11:49, by Frank Van Laere.
We will probably be doing a Week 3 re-run because of the many half empty grids. It seems like not everyone was able to do their re-run, so I think that it's only fair to re-run the race. Many people have requested this as well at the forum, and I think it's the only fair solution.
I will remove the races tonight from the game (so that everyone gets a chance to watch them), and then we won't have a weekupdate tonight.

Sponsors bug, 02 August 2008 14:39, by Frank Van Laere.
The sponsors bug has been fixed now as well.

Early Race, 02 August 2008 14:11, by Frank Van Laere.
As everyone who was online this morning noticed, the race was started early.
This is one of the strangest problems that I've ever experienced. Even though the Windows Scheduler has been set up correctly to run on a Sunday, it started on Saturday morning 0:00.
I have a screenshot proving this and will try to fill out a bugreport somewhere because this seems to be a bug in the Windows Scheduler.
Unfortunately, this meant that I have had to restore all the tables that were affected due to this bug. This means that everything that has been changed between now and midnight this morning has been lost. There was no way for me to recover all the changes that the racescript had affected. This means that everyone who did his qualification lap, or race strategy, or changed engine/brakes parts or changed car settings, will have to do that over again.
Again, everyone who did his qualification lap/strategy changes/car changes (or any other changes as mentioned above) between midnight and now, will have to do that again.
All the other tables have stayed the same, those didn't require a rollback.
I have added a hard check mechanism to the racescript, so that it will only run on a Sunday, even when it's called on a Saturday.
I will also be fixing the bug of sponsors now after fixing this one.

Sorry for the inconvenience, everything seems to go wrong this week, whilest the last 2 bugs (including this one) I couldn't have foreseen.
This also means that I will probably be switching away from Windows Web 2008 at the end of the month or the next one. The switch to Linux is quite likely.

Qualification, 01 August 2008 15:06, by Frank Van Laere.
I just returned from the beach, and to my utmost suprise I noticed that qualification wasn't working.
The reason for this was that it was -for some reason which I'm still not sure of- pointing to an old qualification script. Maybe I have accidentally uploaded an old qualification script when re-uploading the site to the new server. In any case, I had tested the new changes and they did work, as you can see now.
I'm not sure why this happened, but it's very unfortunate, as I did my best to make sure that there wouldn't be any bugs. In any case, qualification is working now. Make sure to check your engines/brakes on the Cars page, because once you qualify, you can't make changes anymore!
