Wiki fixed
Thursday 29 July 2010 12:35, by Frank Van Laere.
The wiki help pages have been fixed. It needed manual fixing, as the mediawiki software doesn't support the current PHP version yet.

Sponsors page
Wednesday 21 July 2010 14:36, by Frank Van Laere.
Some people (including me) couldn't see the sponsors page tabs anymore. This has been fixed now. The tip came from Gareth, so thanks to him!
Apparently AdBlock blocked the div in which the sponsors were displayed. I changed the name of the div to something else, and now the tabs show up again.

Secure connection working again
Tuesday 20 July 2010 11:33, by Frank Van Laere.
Good news everyone, the secure Pitwall connection is working again. That means that you'll be able to browse the Pitwall site with a HTTPS connection again. This also means that the Pitwall Supporter shop is accessible again!

Divisions updated
Monday 19 July 2010 12:53, by Frank Van Laere.
The divisions have just been updated. As usual, I have moved up some teams from divisions that were almost empty, and tried to make sure that everyone is in an interesting division.
It is recommended to log off and log back in after this update.

Division 1 & 2 races start earlier
Sunday 18 July 2010 17:36, by Frank Van Laere.
To make sure that I'll be able to restart the races if they stall, I've had to start the division 1 and 2 races earlier. Therefore these races will start at 18h Pitwall time.

Cheese News
27 June 2010 · Team Macheesmo: Time and races are running out for the rest of the division to peg back team Macheesmo. This is despite abandoning development some time ago in an effort to save money next year.

The cash situation does look a bit healthier, and it will need to come on a great deal more if we are to compete in Division 1, should we get there.

ABysmal choice?
26 July 2010 · Jezchat Cosmos: During the first week of testing, the engine notes of three teams sounded distinctly less impressive than the rest of the pitlane. Dynamo Midge, McLaren GP and Jezchat Cosmos have all signed Own Brand engine contracts, deferring from the majority decision to work with AB once more. This decision may turn out to be pivotal in the title race, as last season's runners-up, Chich Racing, have switched to the more powerful engine supplier for Season 23. Once more, GPRM have gone for Facami engines, meaning that compared to the three OB teams, they are already 13m in debt.

The Own Branders should not be ruled out, however, as Own Brand powered Chich Racing and Jezchat Cosmos comfortably finished second and third last year, often matching the pace of eventual champions Team Muki. Nevertheless, if Chich have maintained the level of their performance into this season, the additional reliability and performance that a works engine deal brings surely makes them the team to beat this season.

Just behind the Australian favourites, last season's regular points finishers Jezchat Cosmos, T-Zer0, DGC and Tjulenj will be looking for some strong early season form, whilst the newly promoted teams will look to put last season's prize money to effective use.

Despite Oskari Salin's impressive CV the demise of the once all-conquering Sallu Racing has left only three available relegation slots in 2.1 this season. Nevertheless, it will take an extraordinary effort for the remaining Own Brand competitors to achieve safety in what will undoubtedly be a competitive division once more.

New Lineup
06 June 2010 · Marko Motoring: Team Marko introduced a re-vamped driver lineup for todays race, with the result being an uninspiring 8th and 9th places... With the 4 stop strategy turning out to be the faster one curiously.

The 1 point gained though is still helpful in our aim of stopping up this season and establishing ourselves more fully at this level, and avoiding 2nd season syndrome!
