This is set up for the Launches for the new season, here is mine:
I gather here with my collegues of the press, where Matt Alvis can be heard on the phone to Stojanovic, the [10] Team GB Second Driver.
"Yes, come over now... thats right, the press are already here... no they dont know anything yet... see you in a minute then Roman"
There we have it Matt Alvis has just gotten of the phone to Roman Stojanovic, who will be on his way over to the team Trailer as soon as he can, and it is thought that he will be the one who will get to unviel the GB003
5 Minutes later Roman Stojanovic steps out of his personal motor home, dressed up as if he was going to the Queens Birthday Party, with a massive smile on his face
Matt Alvis looks out of the window and then disapears. Shortly he steps out of the door of his trailer, to greet Roman
Matt Steps up to the 'makeshift' Podium, stuffed with microphones
''I am pleased to welcome Roman [Stojanovic] to the full [10]iE-News Team GB team as this years test driver. It is also my pleasure to anounce that Roman will be the first Man to drive the Evoluionary Machine, tomorrow Afternoon, schedualed for 12:00 Pitwall Time. The main unvieling will take place in the old hanger over other side of the circuit. It will be dressed up though.

"Roman, do you feel your manager saying this about the car gives you even mose pessure to perform this season?"
RS "No, i think this gives us less pressure as drivers, because we know all we have to do is relax, dnd the car will do its stuff"
"Are you saying that your cars now have an auto pilot feature?"
RS "Off course not" He laughs nervously
MA "You are just being silly now. We will take no more questions"

Thought I would add my small car launch on here for all to read. It might take a day or two to read though. LOL!!
Bouchard F1 Racing Team called a press release early this morning to show off the teams first livery under it new name. Team manager was waiting for the press in front of a large video screen with black drapes on either side of the main stage area just before dawn at 5 am in the morning.
"Welcome all to this early morning press conference we are very happy to see so many great friends in the crowd this morning. As you all know we have been running to very simple based blue cars during this weeks testing week. We did this so that we had more time to work on this season livery. It is completed and we will roll out of new cars in a few minutes but before we do I would like to have Luca Svendsen explain the technical side of our new BF01, Luca?" announced Bouchard F1 Racing Team manager, Robert Bouchard.
"Thanks Robert!! This years car is a major evolutionary design of last years car but with a better bases so that we can quickly further development through the season. Last season cars was limited in respect to the amount of aerodynamic upgrades that we could bring throughout the season so this should be a major improvement.
The Chassis is made of molded Carbon fiber combined with honeycomb composite structure; put more simple a state of the art Chassis from Bouchard F1 Racing Team. Combined with AB 108 engine from AB high performance engines; the V8 engine with 2.4 l displacement, 18, 000 rpm and weighs just 95 kg; we should have a very strong package. Add in the durable Round Tires, well balanced brakes from Opuray and we should challenge for 3.13 Championship this season."
[bang][Bang] Sound of two large howitzers go off to the left and the right of the main stage, the ground start to fill with fog from behind the large black drapes on either side of the stage and the main stage light dim to a soft glow.
To the far left one of the black drapes pulls back and two dark figures in military combats are on the small stage. One man standing and the other man down on one knee.
A deep dark voice started,

[Bang][Bang] The Howitzers fire again.
All was silent as the far right drape pulled back revealing another man dressed in combats down on one knee staring straight a head at the cross in front of him.
Again a deep dark voices started,

When we advanced, you stood the test
You did not quit, you did your best
I leave you here, to meet the dawn
Now 'tis night, and I must move on

[Bang][Bang] The Howitzers go off again.
The black drape on the left close to the center stage pulls back to reveal a Lav III in the distance with a section of men around the heavily armed vehicle. In the fore front stands to men in combats, on slowly bends over and places a small Canadian flag on a rucksack and helmet from a fallen soldier.
The deep dark voice starts again,
A Canadian
The glad and brave young heart
Had come across the sea,
He longed to play his part
in crushing tyranny.
The mountains and the plains
Of his beloved land
Were wine within his veins
And gave an iron hand.
He scorned the thought of fear,
He murmured not at pain,
The call of God was clear,
The path of duty plain.
Beneath the shower of lead
Of poison and of fire,
He charged and fought and bled
Ablaze with one desire.
O Canada, with pride
Look up and greet the morn,
Since of thy wounded side
Such breed of men is born.
[Bang][Bang] The howitzers continue their trend.
The last black drape opens to reveal a man standing in front of a row of guns driven into the ground by their bayonets and helmets of fallen soldiers placed on top.
The dark voice starts once again,
My brothers
Give me your hand, my brothers, search my face;
Look in these eyes lest I should think of shame;
For we have made an end of all things base.
We are returning by the road we came.
Your lot is with the ghosts of soldiers dead,
And I am in the field where men must fight.
But in the gloom I see your laurell’d head
And through your victory I shall win the light.
As soon as the last word is spoken the big screen comes to life:
Video of Highway of Heroes:
The images on the screen shows the highway of Heroes in Canada. The highway of heroes is the 401 highway from Trenton, Ontario to Toronto, Ontario but has become so much more with members of the public lining the side of the road to salute the fallen soldiers motor cars as they drive down the highway with their family members in toe.
As the last part of the video is being played about twenty troops with the Air force, Army and Navy march proudly up onto the stage to a standing ovation.
With the final word spoken all goes dark, Robert Bouchard walks back up onto the stage; after one of the longest introductions to a car unveiling every; he walks to the center of the stage and grabs the mic," Will everyone please join me in a moment of silence to remember those who have fallen protecting our countries!!"
All goes silent for a minute with the silence being broken by the playing of O-Canada on the big screen:
As soon as O-Canada finishes, Bouchard starts his speech,"
A Tribute to those who served and died
In time of War, they heeded the call
They took up arms"Freedom For All"
They went to serve in a far away land
In battles they fought, they took a stand
In honor of Country, their duty they performed
For those who died, our Country sadly mourned
There were many who fell and gave their lives

And give our thanks for heeding the call.
As very few of you know I, myself have spent time in the service of Canada by joining the Army for a brief three year service so I take pride in what the men and women of this country do to serve and to protect every single one of us.
I was so moved a few weeks back by seeing the reaction of the Canadian people to our fallen heroes by creating the Highway of Heroes that I too wanted to do my part in honoring the troops that have given their lives for our country.
So here we are at the start of Season 23, with a newly named team and what better why to honor our troops other then having them become part of our team in some way and form. So without much further delay bring out the cars!!"
Out drivers one car from behind the left drapes and the second from the right drapes.
Right away the first thing that we notice is the whole revised front wing with a much higher nose and the major overhaul of the engine cover. It looks similar to the car that the team ran last year but with some major upgrades from nose to tail.
The livery it's self is a reflection of the whole prelude show with the four sense being played out on the cars some where. Also very noticeable is the lack of sponsors on the car with only one formal sponsor on the car in the way of Round Tires.
Question & Answer time:
The car looks great with some major changes from last season car, what brought on these changes?
RB: We wanted to have the very best car this season heading into the first few races so instead of developing our car to a basic package that we could build on like we have in the past we decide to bring our full race ready car out at the start of the season to try and cut down on reliability issues.
What are some of the major changes to the car?
RB: We have a brand new double diffuser in this years since we were caught out a bit last year by other teams being a head in this development area. We also have newly revised nose cone to help air flow over the of the car and is more in line with our heavily modified engine cover with the air intake being brought down off the top of the engine cover to the side of the cover. We also revised our back end a lot to fit the new AB High Performance engines, this also meant we needed to restructure our wheel bases and suspension.
What are some of the major upgrades planned for the season and when?
RB: We expect to continuously develop some aspect of the car throughout the season with major upgrades expected in week 3 at Lander Raceway, week 5 at Upperwirth and our last major upgrade planned by week 7 at Keimola. After such point we will have to wait and see where we are in the way of our development plans before making any further schedules.
As for areas that we can make a lot of ground in the way of developing the BF01, that easy we developed our aerodynamics program really hard last year with major changes to air flow over the nose cone so we can continue to improve on efficiency of the air flow over the car and engine cover since we seem to be lacking so efficiency over the engine cover at the moment. Other big areas of improvement will be internal parts development, which we have ramped up already. With rebuilding the rear end of this years car to fit AB high performance engines we are lacking in efficiency with our whole power package at the moment as well as suspension package at the rear of the car. If we can figure this out we will be untouchable this season.
That's a really bold statement, where do you think you can finish this year?
RB: Without any team challenging us so far in testing and all the efficiency issues that we currently have with our new car all signs point to us easily taking the championship this year. We had a strong car last year in 2.2 but under performed so here we are with a very strong car that we developed for division 2.2 but with the last minute relegation we are now in 3.13 with a superb car. I am hoping that I am wrong since I don't want to have a run away series.

Mumbles of discontent sweep throughout the crowd.
"It's the same as last year!" a Green Cow representative shouted.
"Well, yes, but that's because we've been solidly working on the parts under the skin..."
"And it's still bearing the Koroma decal!" another besuited man said between the murmers. A few salesmen were starting to leave already.
"Yes, technically they're still paying us. Until the end of the week." Canis replied looking sheepish.
"This is outrageous!" somebody shouted. "I gave up my lunch hour to see this ridiculous farce!"
"I'm leaving." somebody else spoke above the crowd, which had begun to jeer.
Canis looked desperate. "Ladies! Gentlemen! Allow me to show you ..."
A man wearing a Koroma namebadge approached Canis, "Canis, this has gone on long enough. You can forget a renewal from us."
Another pushed forward through the crowd. It was Ralph from Apromega! "Not so tough now, eh? Haha!"
"You'd better leave right now!" Canis warned.
A representative Canis didn't recognise told him in no uncertain terms, "Get your act together!" By now people were leaving in droves. Canis looked down at the nearly empty hanger where a small few sales teams remained.
"It's all under the surface!" he moaned. "We've worked our socks off! The car is better than ever."
"Of course it is." a voice spoke from behind. Canis spun about, his eyes befell one of the Little Tattoo Boys. "We would be prepared to make a deal, but ", he paused, "it would have to be for significantly less than last season."
"Okay, okay, I'll take it." Canis said resignedly, his voice barely a whisper yet clearly audible through the now silent hanger.
"Good man! See you in seven weeks!" the Little Tattoo Boy smiled, and left.
Canis stepped down from the stage and found Norbert.
"I told you! I told you to race last season! Didn't I?"
"Shut up, Norman."
"It's NORBERT!"
"Whatever." |
